Ensure that ALL Oklahomans have access to affordable, high-quality health care. End the shutdown of local, particularly rural and suburban, hospitals and healthcare facilities.

In my work, I have seen children struggle with physical or mental challenges.  I’ve seen parents who are crushed financially and emotionally by the costs of trying to ensure the health of their children.  I’ve seen parents who have to prioritize the health of their children over their own health because they can’t afford to take care of both.  I myself went most of my adult life without any form of health insurance.

As a legislator, I want to be a voice for all Oklahomans, young and old.  I want to advocate for them and help them get the care they need at a price they can afford.

No parent should have to worry all night about how they will afford to take their child to the doctor.  No child should have to watch a parent suffer because they don’t have access to care.  No family should have to lose their home because they had to choose between treating an illness and paying the mortgage.
